Update!

A lot has been going on around here, keeping our lives full and fun.

Recently we discovered a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture....which I should expand on someday) that delivers in our area. We had been looking for a good CSA for quite a while, so we were excited to sign up. Here is a photo of our first delivery!

Let me tell you..... DELICIOUS!
The girls were so excited to get the produce. Maya even ate carrots for breakfast that day. =)
Turkey Day Dash with Family!
Family hike in our favorite trails in November.
(cutest little munchkin ever on his first hike!)

Matchy Matchy Sisters

Today Jesse ran the California International Marathon that goes from Folsom to the Capitol in Sacramento. He had been injured in the training period leading up to the race, so he was hesitant to run, and was expecting to not perform at too high of a level. We rose before the sun to get him to the starting line, and to cheer him on. Here he is at around mile 7.
And his little cheer leaders, waiting patiently around the 13 mile mark. Thanks for the Pom-Pom's, Kaiser.
There he is..... looking good so far! Can you see those blue skies??? It rained all night long, then the clouds left. The temps ranged from 51-57 degrees....PERFECT running weather.... and now it is raining again. Amazing! When I ran this race it was 30 degrees!
And again somewhere around mile 18-ish.

This is just before the finish, with maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mile to go. He was hurting, but just pushing through it.
Some good friends surprised Jesse and showed up a little before this point and really gave him a lift for the final push to the finish line!

And DONE! He finished in an amazing 3 hours, 2 minutes, and 2 seconds!!! It wasn't a "personal best" for him, but very, very close, and very impressive with the amount he was able to train for this race. I was extremely impressed!

He doesn't look like he feels very well, does he? =)
Annaka and Maya congratulating their Daddy.

Other than that, we are doing the usual, school, work routine here. My classes and work end this coming week, which is awesome.

Our Christmas decorations went up this week, making our home feel cozy and festive. I LOVE when our house is decorated for Christmas! We won't be here for Christmas day, so we just got a little, inexpensive tree that feels a little "Charlie Brown," but it works perfectly. We are excited for the round of Christmas plays, programs, parties, and gatherings that are coming up.....and the time with friends and family, as well as tasty treats and savory drinks that come with them. Yay!

We are looking forward to Sherry and Patrick visiting next weekend. We always have fun with them!

Annaka starts her indoor soccer season on Tuesday. I love to watch her play soccer. She gets so into the game!

Also..... Jesse and I were offered a random opportunity to travel to Florida in 2 weeks, so we will be doing that. I have so much to plan and figure out about this trip, and the logistics with our girls staying here. Yikes. Makes me so nervous, but I am very excited as well!
