This year I finished my very last prerequesite class (Organic Chemistry), and I applied to 4 nursing programs. 3 of them are Associate Degree programs at the local community colleges, and if you meed a generous minimum requirement, they select based on a lottery system. The other program is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at California State University of Sacramento, and they accept students based on GPA and an entrance exam score.
Earlier this month, I was notified that I was accepted into the program at Sac State!
With that in mind, I will try to update this blog occasionally, but realistically I have to admit that it won't be often. I hope at a minimum there will be some photos. But seeing photos and updates on Facebook is much more likely.....it's just so much easier.
School is wrapping up! Annaka has a violin recital at school today to wrap up her 2nd year of lessons. She is very excited to continue playing in Middle School next year. Yes.... Annaka in middle school. So crazy! She will have a promotion ceremony next week.....which reminds me of all the tasks I was assigned to do.

Congratulations! That's exciting. I look forward to seeing some pictures of the girls- I can't believe Annika goes to MIDDLE SCHOOL next year. That's wild.
